Joe
The location here is stunning being adjacent to the golf course, and I really enjoyed the lounge bar.

The location was handy in lovely surroundings. The breakfast was satisfactory with baked beans, lovely view and toast and attentive and flexible staff. We didn't want to leave and will be back, loved the city and hotel.

Charlie
The place was pleasant, with its welcoming staff in all areas.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at a great restaurant. the spot was really beautiful and perfect because we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to go. 🌟

Convenience of location and night time quietness. Good parking. The breakfast was good value. The hotel was also very tidy and clean and the reception staff very helpful. The views over the golf course were lovely even though the weather was poor.
It could do with a refurbishment or at least the decor freshening up. The bathroom fittings were old and the grouting between floor and wall tiles was worn. I found the rooms very basic and the bathroom had very minimal toiletries which were cheap and nasty. The lighting was poor, particularly around the mirrors.

You had to ask for things at breakfast, even cutlery as they had not been left out.

Lovely bed, spotless bathroom, and a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and a TV in the room. Beautiful location on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. - Short walk to golf course and countryside. - the View restaurant and outside areas are close by.

The pool and other leisure facilities. Bar meal was good - quick service and not overpriced.
It's the only hotel I have stayed in where I have had to ask the breakfast waitress if she could get me a drink - why didn't she ask as she showed me where to sit?

The scenery and countryside location is very relaxing, The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant. The seating areas outside are fantastic if the weather allows. Breakfast in the restaurant was one of the best.
The hotel furnishings and general decor are looking tired. The bar lacks a social atmosphere.

Luxurious vibes in the room I got, with a brand-new jacuzzi, comfy sofas, and stunning views. the spot where this place is located is just fantastic! 🌄

Room and overall decor could have been better. Tray charge for room service was forced rather than "tip" which led me to believe the person bringing the tray didnt get rewarded. The reception area was poor and was confusing whe checking in as it is the same place you book your golf. (the guy on reception was exellent)

It was easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool, jacuzzi, spa and 'Turkish Room' were most relaxing and the full English breakfast was ample.
The decor was generally rather tired, as if the hotel really needs a facelift.

The stay here was great, the location was excellent with a bar/restaurant nearby, outdoor seating for guests, a golf course, and beautiful countryside surroundings.

They upgraded my room free of charge as it was my birthday which was fantastic of them. They were very accomadating and helpful too.
I wsa told it was central, it wasnt, although a taxi was about £6 to the centre. Also they was some maitenence work going on which made some areas of the hotel smell of glue.

Nothing, it was very disappointing.
Scruffy, drab, bar and reception area. Rooms OK. Breakfast : poor service and food, not enough room to seat people and constantly ran out of food. Staff didn't notice until a guest told them there was nothing to eat. Don't bother with Spa weekend as it is shut on Sunday!
